The chromagraph S3300 is a drum scanner with repro's quality for:

- the picture capture of coloured and black and white supervision and examination presentations
- the input of digitalsierten picture data in computer publishing

The service occurs interactively about the programme LinoColor in an Apple Macintosh OS 9 Workstation or with the software Silverfast in every PC or system MAC OSX.

The scan process can occur in three steps: Overview, Prescan and finescan.

- Overview is a quick scan process. The size of the surface to be felt is fixed by the user.
All presentations in the well-chosen area are grasped. The result shown on the monitor serves the definition of the scan area for the Prescans or finescans.

- Prescan is a scan process with middle resolution. He serves who can be carried out automatically as well as by hand.

- Finescan is the scan process which would run the final picture data.
The Finescan considers the resolution desired in the picture analysis and enlargement

A working preparation is possible by mounting the presentations in the ChromaMount or a suitable preparatory place.
