Description

CTP, year 2003, B2, Device uses violet laser (410nm), reflected with six sided polygon mirror.
Plate thickness is from 0.15 to 0.3 mm. The sizes of plates are in a wide range of 280x 450 mm to 635 x 754 mm. Maximum image is 550 x 754 mm, for exposure of printing plates using a 1200, 2400 and 3000 dpi.
When using 2400 dpi resolution on this CTP the output is 20 plates per hour with the online connection and automatic plate processor Lithostar LP 82 Ultra (up to B1), which is equipped with an unloading device (Stocker).
It is a fully automated operation (automatic loading of plates, online procesing).
Rapid setting of printing machine is allowed thanks to data obtained through CIP3 protocol from prepress, which enables set up of inking zones on printing machine.
Lifetime of device stated by the manufacturer is 300 000 copies (depending on print conditions).
The counter of CTP shows 50 000 plates.
Software equipment of CTP Palladium is working with APOGEE PDF RIP + PRINTDRIVE PILOT (software for management of print jobs).
The delivery also includes Agfa Sherpa proofing device.
